Jay Chamberlin

Jay Chamberlin, as Chief of the Natural Recourses Division, leads natural resources policy and program implementation for the state park system. Previously, he oversaw Delta habitat mitigation and ecosystem restoration program for the California Department of Water Resources, served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary at the California Natural Resources agency, and managed programs for non-profit organizations, including 1000 Friends of Oregon, the Pacific Forest Trust and Natural Parks Conservation Association. Mr. Chamberlin received a M.S. in natural resources and environment from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in history from UC Berkeley.
