Andrew Moyes

Education:

Andrew Moyes worked as a postdoc on the Alpine Treeline Warming Experiment, investigating physilogical responses of establishing conifers to climate variation to understand how climate change may impact the upper and lower range limits of subalpine forest trees. Currently he is a researcher with Kueppers and Carolin Frank studying nitrogen fixation by bacteria associated with subalpine trees. Previously, he has studied photoprotective pigments in elaves, fire, and restoration ecology of Southern California grasslands and shrublands, and the contribution of recently assimilated carbon to soil respiration.
